Goodmorning,
thanx for the quick reply, Most of the part i understand. Only the music trigger part is a bit fuzzy
To get the most out of my system i will need shownet control on all of my divices.
So i order yesterday some extra gear and when it will arrive the new setup will be;
1x DS-1000mk3 (shownet)
2x CS-1000mk2
2x Shownet controller
1x Showcontroller basic
1x APC40
I will run it on windows 10
1x 14" laptop i5
1x 21' 2k touchscreen
Because i want a compact setup when i'm only doing lasers, i dont want to take my dmx desk.
So thats why i bought the APC40
With this setup i think i will be flexibel enough for most of my applications.
Because i'm a dmx minded tech guy. Im looking in the software for a dmx approach.
like beat triggerd chasers with multiply heads and fairly easy to create.
Some effect i'm searching for on "how to create"them are:
- scrolling text on 3 projectors, from projector 1 to 2 to 3.
- all 3 projectors beam each 6 beams, in totaly 18 beams. color or moving chaser on the 18 beams
some questions regarding the software
- what does "worlds" mean
- what can i do in "beam table"
And i want to make a joke regarding your name because thats sounds very english. But i will keep i nice and clean
I'm a 100% dutch guy. And no worries because my name sounds very german
grt

Hello,
because the Name sounds German i answer in German. Otherwise please use Translation.
Hallo,

What kind of software do I use? was created by Stefan Ottenhoff
Hello en goodmorning,
I recently bought some laser gear from laserworld.
1x DS-1000mk3 (shownet)
2x CS-1000mk2
To get the most out this system I need some help/advice regarding software choice.
Questions I have are
- what would be a better choice of software/ controlling, pangolin, showcontroller or dmx?
- what kind of setup would you recommend 1x center, 2x satellite.
- is it possible to connect ILDA through the shownet interface of the DS-1000mk3?
- what kind of hardware would I need?
- is there a audio input?
- how easy is midi implantation?
What do i want to do with my lasers
- my main goal is to get familiar with laser, safety and of course laser shows
- I want to have a system that is flexibel if I want to expand in number of lasers
- it would be nice to setup the show fairly quickly
- audience /places of usage 50-350 people
- mostly beam shows on beat of DJ
My background
- average knowledge of dmx/Artnet
- no knowledge of ILDA
- I have a chamsys pc-wing
- I have a zerro88 Fat-frog
- I have a enttec usb-pro mk2
