You may also try the latest version of Showcontroller, dated yesterday, which can be downloaded here: https://showcontroller.com/en/downloads/showcontroller-laser-software.html
But it is essential that you have inserted the red USB-license-key and that the red LED of this key is lit. It may be necessary that the computer has internet access for once just to initialize the USB key - it's not necessary to have internet connected in the future then, just once for the initialization if it does not work straight away.

Hello Rainer,
you own a Red Showcontroller USB Dongle ?
Showeditor is free, not Showcontroller.

Mine is similar: The Hardware is shown in the HArdwarecehck and in the Admin Tool, but Live says no Dongle found.
Firewall is completely turned off.
IP Adress is obtained from my DHCP and is 2.0.0.201. Might this be a problem, that SC (Live) ist expecting IP-Adresses in the 192... Range?

Hello, try this
open cmd.exe as Administrator.
Type in:
netsh advfirewall firewall add rule dir=in name="Live" program="YourInstallationPath" action= allow
Replace YourInstallationPath with a.e. "C:\Programme(x86)\Showcontroller\Live.exe"

Hi,
this issue is related to wrong firewall settings - most probably not ALL boxes for the different LAN hardware have been checked when the alert boxn showed on installation. Then the firewall exception is only set for one hardware (probably wifi) and if you connect the normal LAN, the firewall blocks the software.
For testing it make sure you disable ALL firewalls and retry it. Also make sure you make a reboot of the computer before you do it (reboot with Windows->reboot, switching the computer off is NOT sufficient, it must be a proper reboot (which is not done with normal shut down any more (used to be done with previous windows versions, but not with win 10 any more!))
It is extremely likely (99% !) that it's the firewall.
Also make sure you have the latest software version, just in case.

Hello
In Live app the startup it freezing in creating work space at 0%.
I disable all firewalls, antivirus and I gave administrator rights to the application, but it still does not work.
The rest of the apps: Real Time, Shownet Admin Tool, PC Edit, etc works fine. But Live don´t want to start.
Any ideas or suggestions?
